Things have really died down for the McCann’s recently. Appeal posters are being torn down in Portugal, the world wide news coverage has died down, and the hope that remained with many people has vanished just like she did over 8 months ago.

The few news reports that are still appearing talk about a new appeal for 2008, and new leads etc - But lets face it. We’re talking about a little girl thats been missing 8 whole months. Im sure that by now everyone in the world knows she’s missing, and if anyone was going to of seen her, then it would of happend by now.

I realise that some cases do emerge where kids that go missing turn up years later - but that was then, and this is now. With the modern technology that is available, every news update on everything that is going off at the minute is beamed to everyone round the world at the same time. News travels faster than ANYTHING in the entire world. And if someone spots a missing person, that information gets to the people that need to know about it in seconds.

As i have said with all my blogs, its a real shame - and the parents and family can never give up the search, which is totally understandable. But, it appears that slowly the rest of the world is giving up hope of ever seeing Madeleine McCann alive again.

15 Nov 07 The Truth behind the Madeleine McCann Disappearance

I found this on News Desk Special, and was shocked to think that it could be the truth.

“A lawyer for one of the so-called Tapas Nine has confirmed to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo that their client would like to speak further to the Portuguese police but feels reluctant to do so because of Gerry and Kate McCann’s powerful political allies.

The London-based lawyer, speaking anonymously, claims that the client in question wants to “reveal the whole truth” about the McCanns, but is fearful that it will attract the ire of the many politicians and lobby groups who have attached themselves to the case.

The McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell has called the report “utter rubbish”, saying all seven of the friends who ate with the McCanns on May 3, the night Madeleine disappeared, share the same lawyer.

The unnamed lawyer however claims that the friend in question broke ranks and secretly consulted him in September. He repeated allegations to El Mundo that once Madeleine had gone missing in the Algarve resort of Praia da Luz, the police were not called until the parents had discussed the legal ramifications of having left their children alone for the evening.”

So their4 year old daughter is snatched, or whatever.. and straight away they were more bothered about what people would think of them for leaving their kids unattended, than actually finding their missing daughter.. It makes me sick!

02 Nov 07 Bizzarre Madeleine Mccann Theory

Ive not blogged about this subject for a while, as to be honest - dispite the fact a little girl is still missing, im just getting a bit tired of it all, aren’t you?

But after a quick google search to update myself on the current goings-on in the case, i stubmled upon this little gem of information, probably a pile of shit, but i guess you cant rule anything out at this stage, no matter how much it sounds like a movie script..

“Kate was used to incubate the fertilised egg of a government experimental human clone. The McCann’s were allowed to raise her as their own but the government body was concerned for the welfare of their experiment clone because they found out that the McCann’s were sedating her while they went for drinks at the Tapas Bar. The government sent in a stealth team who snatched Madeleine on the evening of May 3^rd which, says my neighbour, would explain why Kate cried out “they’ve taken her” because she knew who ‘they’ were, but then later changed her wording when she realised she had nearly given the game away. The McCann’s don’t appear to be upset because they’re not, they know where Maddie is. Everything Kate and Gerry have said and done since the ‘abduction’ has been a charade to cover up the top secret experiment and the government in turn are protecting the McCann’s to ensure the secret is kept under wraps. “

Hahaha, wow. I guess that would make a decent film! But in regards the truth of it all, i very much doubt  this is anything like the actual story behind what happened to maddy.

Im sure in time the truth will emerge, until then im sure we’ll hear of more “evidence” found, more suspects, and probably a few more instances where jerry and kate mccan are accused of murdering her, or selling her to the circuis to be used as the human cannanball.

I doubt ill blog about this again until something really juicy crops up.

I do hope she’s found OK though, but the further and longer this is all dragged out, the less likely i think that will happen.

26 Sep 07 New Photo of Missing Madeleine? Or Hoax to take focus off mccans?

I came back into my room this morning after having a shower, and gemma had the TV on. There was a news report on and some woman was being interviewed going on about how “She looked out of place” and was “very white with blonde hair”. I instantly thought, madeleine!

As soon as i got to work i found a pic on the internet and tried to improve the quality of it so that the face of the little girl would become more ledgable. Unfortunately, it was near on impossible due to the way a picture of that sort is made up.

Just looking at the photo (even though its poor quality) makes you instantly think that something is wrong with it. Why is a kid that is whiter than white and with blonde hair on the back of some disguised woman/man in Morocco?

It seems that after months of nothing but speculation and accusations, that ONE piece of evidence has finally come to light that suggests maddy may be still alive!

Or, on the flip side.. Maybe this photo (however convincing it may be) is a complete hoax, and the release of it has been totally instigated by the mccanns to take the spotlight away from them? Its a sad thing to think, but it wont be the first time that propaganda like this has been used to pull the wool over the unsuspecting publics eyes.

Only time will tell.

21 Sep 07 Madeleine - Tests cannot prove she died

I stumbled upon this bit of text in a recnet news article on FOX news.

“Portuguese police suspect that the couple, from Leicestershire, may have accidentally killed their daughter and hidden her body. But tests on samples taken from the holiday flat where she disappeared and the couple’s hire car have failed to prove she is dead.”

So all those allegations, and they cant even prove if the little girl is in fact dead or alive. From what i read, it doesn’t appear that they know very much about this case at all.

I really feel sorry for this little girl. If she is still alive, then she’ll probably be missing her cat teddy bear thing, and maybe her mum and dad and sisters. If she’s dead then its the result of a unnecessarily over-the-top advertising campaign, and extremely poor police work. Either way, its absolutely no fault of her own. Poor girl.

In more olstar related news, i have bee walking like, a 1/4 of the way to work in the mornings. Its helping me wake up properly, and its giving me a little bit of excercise each day too, as i do NONE at all.

On my travels i walk through 3 or 4 subways (not the shop that sells expensive sarnies, the underpass things) and it brought back many a memory from when me and my mate timmyroob were wannabe graffiti artists. I was never any good, tim was better than me. But we used to paint down in certain subways in mansfield, away from the prying eyes of the public. Its mad buzz running down somewhere, one of us watching out, and the other taggin the wall with some mad colours and shapes.

Ok, so this example of a tagged subway looks messy, but when graffiti is “tidy” and well painted, it looks amazing. the tag on the left is quite good, and there are a few other good ones in this subway, but generally round here the artists are pretty lame.

When we were in bratislava, there was LOADS of taggin, but not that much actual good graffiti. It was mostly in a foregn language so i didnt understand it.

I wish that i could actually draw, and had even just a ounce of talent in the hand drawing area, as id still be graffiti’ing to this day.

On a completley unrelated note, i have just seen that  according to some bones that have been found, the Hobbit, was actually a real thing!

17 Sep 07 The media will destroy the world

Yep, that’s right. The media (i.e. newspapers, news on TV) will cause the total destruction of the world by about 2045.

I was watching the TV the other day, and i saw that “Northern Rock” - a large bank organisation had to borrow money from the Bank of England, so that their customers didn’t experience any problems getting their money out. The reason for this is the way the bank works, they borrow money from people to give to their customers at a fixed LOW rate. They then lend that money to their customers at a higher rate, therefore making money.

Now, the people that the bank borrow money off have put their rates up, and that meant that Northern Rock could of been in a “lack of cash£” situation so temporarily borrowed some cash from the bank of england whilst they upped their interest rates and started over-charging existing customers to make a bit more cash for them.

But, thanks to the media, everyone has gone into panic mode, and has withdrawn their cash from their savings with Northern Rock. If everyone does this, then the large organisation that is Northern Rock, and all its employees, will be out on the street! And its not even their fault!

And again, with the Madeleine mccann case, there has been so much speculation, allegations, and blame being thrown about, that people have forgotten that there is a little girl out there that could still be alive, or could be buried somewhere horrible, and not near her home and family so that they can pay respects to her (if she is indeed dead).

And the people to blame about this, is the media! They hype stuff up, and make a mountain out of a molehill JUST to sell papers, they don’t give a fuck about the fact Madeleine is missing, they just want a more attention-grabbing title than their competitors, so that they can be number 1 in the ratings!

The fast paced news reporting media that we have in this day and age is to blame for SO much..

Will it ever go away?

I found this article on the sky news site, and i feel that its very interesting and could throw this case in totally the other direction!

Portuguese detectives have been urged to ditch their case against Gerry and Kate McCann and re-open the investigation into a girl who disappeared in similar circumstances to Madeleine.

The article go’s on to say that there are so many similarities between the Madeleine case, and the case of Joana Cipriano back in 2004. Crime expert Mark Williams-Thomas who has made this suggestion states;

“What I have difficulty in understanding is they would have killed her and stored her body for at least 25 days and left no evidence.

“At the very least the body would have started to decompose, especially in a hot country. And there was a huge risk of someone finding that body.”

Joana Cipriano vanished from a village just seven miles from Praia da Luz, where Madeleine disappeared. And her body was never found either, Yet Joana’s mother and uncle were jailed for her murder. Now, five police officers have now been accused of forcing false confessions out of them.

Mr Williams-Thomas believes that because of the huge doubts over the convictions, whoever abducted Joana is more than likely to be behind Madeleine’s disappearance. He said he could not understand why the police are pursuing their “ludicrous” investigation into the McCanns, when such a strong line of inquiry remains open.

He added: “There’s not a single case in the UK where two children who are unknown to each other have been abducted or disappeared within a period of four years in a seven-mile radius.

“On that basis it has to be a serious line of inquiry to eliminate it as a huge coincidence”.

“Portugal is a small country with very, very few abductions so two young girls vanishing out of thin air with their bodies never being recovered is something that needs to be investigated.”

Joana vanished on September 12, 2004, after setting off from home in the village of Figueira to collect groceries. She never returned. Like Madeleine McCann’s case, the police investigation got off to a bad start. They failed to seal off the house where she was last seen. Joana’s mother Leonor and her brother Joao were jailed for 16 years for her murder, But they claim they were set up and police have been named as suspects in their “torture”.

Cipriano alleges police beat her to make her confess. A photograph of her heavily-bruised face was published in Portuguese newspapers. She says the interrogation took place without her lawyer present and without the knowledge of the public prosecutor.

Police claimed Joana discovered Cipriano and her brother having sex when she returned with the groceries. They said the pair were afraid Joana would tell what she saw and killed her. Mr Williams-Thomas says because of the doubt over the safety of the convictions, the case should be re-opened.

But to compound the Madeleine investigation further, a senior detective in the hunt is one of the five officers alleged to have extracted the confessions. Goncalo Amaral, who is number three in the Madeleine inquiry, and his officers have been accused of torture, omission of evidence and falsification of documents.

Mr Williams-Thomas said: “This casts huge doubt in my mind about the integrity of the investigating officer. “Even if we work on the basis that he is innocent, given this allegation against him, he shouldn’t have anything to do with the Madeleine investigation.”

He stressed: “There are so many similarities between the cases it has to be eliminated.

“Therefore to consider solely Kate and Gerry McCann as suspects rather than considering all the options is ludicrous.”

The former detective also heavily criticised the Portuguese police inquiry into Madeleine’s disappearance.

Commenting on their emergency application to seize Gerry McCann’s laptop computer and reportedly even Madeleine’s favourite toy Cuddle Cat, he said: “I think it’s amazing that they haven’t already seized them.

“This is the whole problem with the case. They are treating Kate and Gerry McCann as suspects but aren’t dealing with them as suspects.

“Why didn’t they do that when she went missing? They are back-tracking.

“They are trying to recover the situation, forensically and evidentally, they lost at the first opportunity.”

Another crime expert believes even if the police do charge the McCanns they will struggle to convict them - because Madeleine’s body is still missing and there is no evidence that has been made public to suggest she is even dead.

Desmond Thomas, a former deputy head of Hampshire CID who is now a forensic management consultant, says he does not believe anyone will be found guilty unless a body or weapon is discovered.

He said: “I think the Portuguese police are struggling. Of course, we cannot be sure about exactly what is in the dossier they have prepared.

“But from what we know this far, if I was bringing the charges, I would be nervous about it being successful.

“The only way I can see anyone being successfully charged is if the body is found and they can link it clearly to them.”

This may be some solace to the McCanns, but then Portuguese courts may have a different conviction rate to UK courts.

After all, detectives managed to “solve” Joana’s murder, and there was no body or weapon found.

Well…. Thats certainly food for thought..

08 Sep 07 Madeleine McCann - Case Update - Murdered?

Well, are’nt these further developments on the maddy case interesting!

I dont mean to sound like a ass, but GOD DAMM i knew something dodgy was going off. I know nothing has been confirmed, but surely claims like this wouldnt be being made if she wasnt really a suspect!

In a shocking twist, the British parents who have run an international campaign to find their missing toddler were declared suspects in the case Friday, their lawyer said, after traces of blood were found in their rental car.

I just cant belive that its actually happening, ithink many people like myself have thought this for a while to be hoenst, but many people have been too scared to speak outright due to not wanting to be labled unkind or whatever.

Anyway, im gonna wait and see how this pan’s out - before making any more presumptions.

Well, apart from i strongly belive her body will be found quite near where she went misssing.. In a shallow grave more than likley.

Poor madeleine.

23 Aug 07 Madeleine - Dead? Still Missing…

I went to get some deezil today, and this caught my eye as it was in huge letters on the front of a newspaper..

“Detectives ‘now believe Madeleine died by accident’”

Anyone that reads my blog, will know that from the start, i have not believed a word of what the McCanns or the the general public have been saying. I have felt that there has been something else going on, and the McCanns knew about it.

You only have to read back a few blog entries to see my theories, and it turns out that this is now what many detectives working the case seem to think.

“Portuguese detectives now favour the theory that Madeleine McCann died in a tragic accident in the family’s holiday apartment, it has emerged.

The three senior officers leading the inquiry are all but certain she died on the night she vanished.

They are ‘leaning towards’ the conclusion that she was not intentionally killed, according to police sources.”

Im just shocked that im reading this on something that isnt my blog! In a way im glad that people are warming to the idea, as i kinda felt a bit wrong for thinking all this - but now it seems that according to the press more and more people are starting to realise that there may be more to this case than meets the eye.

“Detectives have stressed several times that neither the McCanns, both 39-year-old doctors, nor the friends they were holidaying with are suspects.

One possibility is a botched burglary, in which thieves panicked and tried to silence Madeleine. But Mr McCann said: “This is wild speculation.”

Interesting theory there, A theif notices a large wealthy family, and go’s into the apartment expecting to find it empty, finds its got 3 kids in it and maddy kicks off as they are neither friends or mum and dad.. But if this is the case, then why did no one hear any screams? How did they get a body of a little girl out of there, without ANYONE seeing!?

Personally, i think the answer to this riddle lies within the minds of the McCanns, as they are the only people that wouldnt of rasied any attention or questions if they were saw walking from the apartment with what looked like a “Sleeping” child. Horrible thought, i know, but things like that CAN push people so far, they what they tell each other, and what they belive to be true, becomes the truth, and the actual truth behind their terrible secret becomes a distant memory.

It would explain why Kate always looks traumatised, and why the forceful Jerry always takes the leads during interviews. He’ll probably be able to belive something “Made up” quite easily, whereas the mother of madeleine probably cant therefore he does the talking and he tell’s her to make her guilt look like sadness.

I dont want to offend people i am mearly giving my point of view. And so far, my theories havent been far wrong!

Again, i hope that all this is bullshit, and maddy is found. But i cant help having these opinions!

Tests have reportedly concluded that blood traces found in the McCann family’s holiday apartment were not those of their missing daughter Madeleine.

Reports this morning say the blood came from a man, probably a guest who hurt himself while staying in the apartment after the four-year-old disappeared.

Meanwhile, Portugal’s police chief is quoted today as saying that he believes Madeleine died on the night she vanished in the Algarve more than three months ago.

Portuguese media reports say the scene of human remains was detected in the McCann’s apartment by by British sniffer dogs.

The McCanns say they still believe their daughter is alive.

Im suspecting they meant “scent” and not “scene” there, and if thats the case then that might be the last chance they have of securing any evidence. Either that or they’ll find some dead body of a randomer under the floor boards.

If that lead turns out to be a pile of shit, i wonder what their next move will be?
