I was give 81 beano comics ranging from May 27th 1967, to March 6th 1971 - including the xmas edition from December 21st 1968 AND the rare issue 1363 where gnasher appears for the first time!
And i have no idea what to do with them!
I was told to hang on to them as they will be worth a lot more than they are now in a few years - but will they?
I would of thought a comic that is over 40 years old would be rare enough, and probably worth the most its ever gonna be!
So who do i sell the to?
Im not putting them on eBay, as that is the home of bargains, not rare items.. So i have looked about for comic sales websites and i have found a few - but they are not very busy.
So i thought to use my blog to reach out to the world, and if anyone is missing any issues from the dates specified above -then give me a shout!

If you come up leeming street (The one with yates on it) to the top and turn left as though you are going to clumber street car park, theres a comic shop on your left just before you get to the arcase. Might be worth nipping along there and seeing where they would recommend you going to? I know they or more science fiction based though, but might be able to help?
its called ground zero..
i dont think they do this kinda thing, but i will go in and ask
get in touch with them auctioneers mate! They should know what they’re talking about, and maybe give you a rough guide as to how much you’d be looking at getting for them
I hate to burst the bubble but they are not that rare…
If you look on ebay you will see how many there are for sale.. It doesn’t matter about what they go for on Ebay, if something is rare, believe me the collectors are looking there.
I wouldn’t hang on to them for too long without special storage as the paper is low quality ands full of acid (which is why they go brown) eventually they will crumble if not stored properly.
On a good day you are looking at around 3-5 quid each for 60’s Beano comics.
