Work is probably the largest “thing” in your life. People have houses, kids, cars hobbies etc etc etc. But in order to get or do these things, you need money - and unless you were born with a silver spoon up your ass, you have to work for that money.

Now, we have chat threads on maxxd for the day to day gabbing so that the actual worthwhile posts stay full of information, not full of shit. And every single time someone writes about their workplace, or job, they always write that they are unhappy, or that they dont want to be there - whatever it is they say, its always negative.

This got me thinking, how many people are actually enjoying their jobs? How many people get up in a morning and look forward to going to work?

Im sat here at 18:06, and im still at work. I dont really think of it as “Being at work” tho, its strange. I was here till about 9 last night, and even then it didnt feel late.

I guess self employment was the one thing that i would be able to sit back and enjoy, and for other people it may be working in a factory, or making sandwiches.

Whatever career it is, whatever job it is, make sure your doing what you want! As its a massive part of your life - and to waste it, would be such a shame.

Im sat here.. My foot is tapping in anticipation, and i keep checking azureus to see how my torrent is progressing. Its tuesday, prison break season 2 episode 15 aired in the usa yesterday, and its available to download now! I remember when season 1 had just come onto channel 5, and i was HOOKED! I used to run home, sort my shit out and collapse in a pile whilst watching the greatest TV show that has ever been made. I feel that excitement again, and i know that by 2pm this afternoon, ill of seen the latest priosn break episode. WOWEEE!

Im quite into lost too, not as much as PB, but its a very good program. There is so much going off, so many sub stories, its hard to keep up. And the island is just a bit strange too, a lot of the stuff is not believeable. Thats what seperates the two programs, they arte both exciting, both action packed, both leave you on the edge of your seats, but one is slightly more real than the other.

If anyone has located past EP06 of SE03 of lost (torrents) then holla at me! I dont do SKY n shit
Works going great, we have plenty of bits and bobs coming in that are keeping me busy. I cant wait for dave to start the sales campaign, so that i can do a feew thngs that are not focused around getting money in, i.e. work on Maxxd.com.

Yes, i wrote multi twice. I have set up my 2nd laptop under my desk, and i have a Windows Remote Desktop window open all day long. I am able to easily get on my phone, get my pics off, upload them, play music (the headphone jack and speakers are screwed on my new lappy) and it leaves my actual work PC free of shit, and with lots of spare memory. Its great. So now im a multi multi tasker! Bo!

I have also mastered the configuration of the tomtom software on my N73. I aquired a new version of the tomtom gps software as i read the version more freely available didnt run on series 60 version 3 of the symbian operating system. I hunted and hunted, and finally found the right software. Finally managed to get it installed.. No maps found! found maps, installed.. NO MAPS FOUND! Grrr… Eventually after ages of reading about i read that if you put the map files in a folder called Great-Britain_map in your root directory of your memory card it would work! I loaded tomtom, and it did! The GPS reciever works fine too (thanks djb), and i tried it today on my way home. Gps for next to nowt! What a bargain!

Works going fine, we have done more work for the council, and they want some flyers printing and some posters printing that are going to be displayed in job shop’s and other such finding work stylee places.. Should be good, although ive only ever been in one of them establishments once, and that was with a friend.

Work to do anyway, so cant ramble on all day.

I have no idea where the last month has gone. All i seem to hear is, “Oh, its friday again.” Its mental! Today we have been chasing a few invoices up, and visiting a few people. Its been ace, we got some fresh air, saw some sights, and had a nice steady day. I have been trying to finish a shop for a client but i have been having issues with the installation.

My laptop is right pissing me off. I cant seem to get the bluetooth dongle to work, which means i cant get my pictures off my phone. Also, i cant get the gallery java uploader to work, which means i cant even publish the images to my site, even if i could get them off!

I have also realised that i have lost the blogging spark. I have been a passionate blogger since 2001/2002? And i usually go through phases of not being interesting enough to blog about - well i think so anyway - so i take a break and resume when im interesting again.

But as of late, i have just not had the time, or the subjects to blog about!

Oh well.. i hope to get back to normal soon

Well, since my last update… MY LAPTOP MEMORY HAS ARRIVED! To be honest, i think it arrived the night i wrote a blog entry moaning about it. It has made my life STRESS free! Before, i would open PS CS2, and dreamweaver, then try and open firefox and the webcam software - the whole pc would become unstable, and stop responding. I think i was still running on 64mb before, and it was slower than slow! It was stupid!

Anyway, 512mb later, and it runs like its on fire! I can actually use photoshop properly! I have been using it to make plenty of cool new images for the new Maxxd.com, and various clients for MMS. Its awesome. I might buy ANOTHER 512 stick when i have cash, then ill REALLY be rockin and rollin!

I have been so addicted to GTA San Andreas recently, i cannot stay off the game. I just like cheating though, getting lots of money and buying big houses. I have 3 huge houses atm, one with a perfect balcony for shooting my missile launcher off
When playing a game like GTA, it makes you wonder.. What kind of impact does a game like GTA have on impressionable young kids? Mugging old women, murdering people in cold blood and stealing their money? Although i love playing it, you gotta think about the knock on effects!

Work is going great, me and dave are gettin on fine and the work is slowley coming in. We have bought a new whiteboard, and stationary today - doing things like that really makes it hit home that your self employed and have your own business and stuff.
Anyway, i have more free pizza to eat..

I am getting seriously pissed off waiting for my memory to come for my laptop. I ordered it WAY before xmas, it came shortly after xmas and turned out to be the WRONG memory. It didnt even fit into the laptop! AND It was 256, not 512. So im having to make do with teh stupidly low amount of RAM i have in it. Argg it makes image editing nearly impossible!

I have sent it back, but i bet they kick up a fuss about it, and try and claim i have swapped it to try and blag them. Its a good idea, but no, i havent. SEND ME MY MEMORY YOU ASS HOLES!

Had a really good day today to be fair, ive been in a much better mood. My head feels clear and ive managed to get as much work done as my pc is allowing me to do. I always seem to be held back by bloody hardware!

I watched fearless last night. Its the last Jet Li film and it is based at the turn of the last century. Its a fantastic film, some AMAZING special effects, and the story line is not a usual one. Mr Li plays Huo Yuan Jia very well, and once again shows the world that they really shouldnt fuck with him. haha

Going now, cos we gotta pick up free pizza. Mmm free

Today has been a lot better than yesterday. I think i was still very depressed from the weekend, and i had something on my mind that was bugging me. I had a bit of a lie in this morning, and we didnt actually come into the office until later, reason being we had to visit a client to help them with something, then we popped into town to look for a big whiteboard.

Today i have mostly been setting up our webcam portal page, and i have also been sorting the hosting clients out. We should be making a profit with the hosting, so why the bloody hell do we have to pay it sometimes?  My mission is to sort the server out, and make it profitable. it shouldnt be hard now i have a spreadsheet with all the clients in and costings etc.

The webcam portal page kicks ass! This little program uploads a snapshot from the cam to the web every 5 seconds, and the page refreshes every 7. It shows the view from outside our office, and in the day you can see the cars clear as day!

I have a mondo headache, so im gonna get dave to take me home soon. Must get some pain killers on the way home i feel sick its hurting that much!

I feel really miserable today. I dont know why, but i just do. All the things that are going on in my life, and im still sat here with a sad face on. I think the stress and depression (strepression) has been brought upon by the fact i have no money, and that i was wasted all weekend, and i ALWAYS get major depression after gettin wasted. I will have to give it a few days before i can decypher wether or not the strepression is being caused by anyhting else, as right now im still fuzzy from the weekend. I will wake up tomorrow, and i will know for sure if im ok.

Im not sure if i made much sence here, ah who cares i write this for me not you.
